The Peak District has a rich history stretching back millennia, from prehistoric times to its designation as the first national park in Britain in 1951
There are literally millions of compositions to be taken and many happy hours of exploration still to be had.

Cornwall
The Lizard peninsula in Cornwall is the southernmost point of mainland Britain.
It has a rich history spans geology, maritime activities, and local folklore.
Its unique geology, including the famous serpentine rocks, has shaped the landscape and inspired the region's industries.
I love taking photos in Cornwall. The views are spectacular with almost every step you take.

Ireland
I love to visit Ireland. It has so much to offer those wanting to explore the sensational beauty, in such an unusual quality of holiday, the lovely people, the views, the rich history, the interesting folklore, and the great towns.
There is something for everyone, especially those with a camera.

Photography helps me look at the world in a different way. I've learned to notice shapes and patterns I never realised were there in the past. I now see landscapes as a composition and seem to always want to stop and photograph them! Leading lines, or naturally occurring frames in the landscape, have become far more noticeable and I often pull out my phone to take a quick snapshot.
I truly believe that photography has helped me enjoy my life, and given me the confidence to explore my surroundings more. I have a new appreciation for the beauty of the earth, and I love sharing that beauty with others through my photos. More than just an artistic outlet, photography has become a staircase of learning and a way for me to be present, mindful, and more deeply connected to the world around me.

I have a difficult time choosing my favourite photo. It depends on how I feel at the time and where I have just been. It's not easy.
I find that the photo that might be my favourite today will change by tomorrow, next week or next month, and because of that I tend to get attached to the most recent photos I have taken. With that said, this photo is my favourite this month...haha. By next month I hope I will have taken a new photo that I love that one even more! The duck in this shot had 13 duckling with her that day and didn't look at all harassed when one kept looking elsewhere and drifted away from the others and then had to paddle hard to catch up.
